crosswalk movements
a participative pop up performance on a regulated crosswalk with invited guests and people joining spontaneously
crosswalk = a place on a road, especially one where there is a lot of traffic, at which vehicles must stop to allow people to walk across the road
In public space we are mostly walking forward and on two legs. Why actually? We could also move by rolling, crawling, flowing, turning or jumping. The performance invites you to expand your usual vocabulary of movement, to experiment with forms of locomotion and to temporarily rethink public space using the example of zebra crossings.
