KANON
a performative installation in public space. The performers position themselves in one place and use dance methods to explore the inner state of individual Body Configurations from VALIE EXPORT's work. They understand this as their guiding principle, look for its meaning today and interpret it from their personal perspective. In this way, the body configurations are transformed into a dance of the female CANON, which is about softness, anger, exhaustion, confidence, freedom and solidarity.
The interdisciplinary work, which combines sound, dance and photography, takes place on the occasion of International Women's Day.
